On Sunday we went tm the Borough Market Apple Day event. There were a lot of apples on display and apple cakes and pies. There was also a traditional Green Man who looked really good.

Lunch today is taking place in Rays Cafe in Foyles Bookstore. On the menu… Houmus and aubergine sandwich, brie roll 2 coffees and the piece of resistance… Banana and walnut cake. Tip top. We love you again Rays Cafe. =

Todays luncheon is taking place at the National Gallery in the Peyton and Byrne cafe. Delights include a lovely egg and cress sandwich and a black currant and apricot tart. Tourist season seems to be at a low point as the place is not too busy which is good. If you want lunch in a great environment and you are near Trafalgar Square give this place a go its well worth a visit. Oh and they also have some old paintings as well which are worth a look at if you have the time.
