Here is a short video taken at the Bermondsey Street Festival at the end of the summer. The video shows the fashion designer Zandra Rhodes dancing around the Bermondsey Street maypole. Also featured is the jewellery designer Andrew Logan. A fun day was had by all.

Here is a short video of Teddy running up Jordan’s legs whilst chasing a cork pushed onto the end of a shoelace. Since this video was taken Teddy has grown to about twice the size he is here.

Tarsem Singh has made a fantastic movie called The Fall. If you have not seen this movie then you need to make every effort to track it down and see it. It is currently playing at the Curzon Soho. When I saw it Tarsem was in the audience and at the end of the movie got on stage for a Q&A session. Also in the audience was Kiera Knightly and her boyfriend but that fact is irrelevant.

The Fall is set in the 1920′s in a hospital where a six year old girl meets a film stuntman who has broken his back doing a dangerous stunt. The film company are trying to pay him off but to compound his problems his girlfriend has left him and he’s feeling suicidal.

He develops a friendship with the young girl and proceeds to tell her a fantastic story about an evil Emperor Odious. All of the characters in the story are people in the hospital and the plot moves between ‘real-life’ and the fantasy world.

The movie looks absolutey stunning and the performances are superb. This is a work of art that will stay with the viewer for a long time.

In a way this movie is very similar in it’s plotting to The Wizard of Oz but this is not a children’s movie. I urge you to go out of your way to see it and to buy a copy on DVD for someone you know for a Christmas present.
